Northwestern Ontario is known for its wildlife, especially moose
and Dryden is no exception. The City Mascot, Maximillian Moose is an affectionate tribute to the largest member of the
deer family and is a sight to behold. Visit Max - a six metre (18 foot) statue on Highway 17, next to the Tourist Information
Centre.
Laying on one of the beaches nearby, surrounded with the serenity
of nature, listening to the call of the Loon's, watching the Canadian Geese coming in to feed on wild rice, and just
enjoy a relaxing time.
